Kerri Zelman

Buddhist monk and healer visiting central PA

This is coming up soon, I thought this might be of interest... I live in the State College, PA area and a woman in our community recently sent out this announcement:

A Buddhist Healing Touch

JOIN US FOR AN EVENING
OF MIRACLES AND CHANGE

If we could see the miracle of a single flower
clearly, our whole life would change.

The Buddha

The word doctor comes from the Latin docere which means "to teach".
My Greatest Teacher, who has traveled the world many times over to
bring fourth the message of healing and spiritual renewal, is a
beautiful Buddhist Monk by the name of Loung Pao Prasert Itthiyano.
Loung Pao Prasert has delivered hope and deep healing to countless
numbers of people at his temples in Thailand, Australia, France,
Belgium and Switzerland and we are overjoyed to announce that he will
be here in Port Matilda, PA. to teach and share on June 13th, 14th,
15th and 16th - ALL ARE INVITED. Loung Pao Prasert is known well for
his gift of seeing illness in others and providing help and
transformation - even from remote distances. He has often been
called upon by medical doctors for guidance in difficult cases. He
has been sent for with private jet by the King of Butthan numerous
times in the past when the King was ill. His interest is to teach
the Dhamma while also providing insight into the essentials of
optimum health. He is also a master of Thai traditional medicine,
Thai herbs and color therapy. Loung Pao provides hands on energy
work and individual herb regiments on a case by case basis.
Considered by many as one of the greatest healers of our day, Loung
Pao Prasert wishes only to be known as a simple Buddhist Monk.

Everyone is invited to join us for this rare opportunity to meet and
listen to the teachings and healing protocols of Loung Pao Prasert (See schedule
below). Please share this e-mail with friends and help us get the
word out. For more information contact Catherine Augustine at
cxa6@psu.edu or 814-231-3321 or Julian Metter at
julian@lazerlink.com 814-404-7904.

NOTE: This is offered on a no charge / donation basis only.
Donations go to Loung Pao's Centers including Wat Bua Luang and to
help cover travel expenses. Wat Bua Luang is a center in Thailand
that treats people free of charge that have cancer, diabetes, heart
disease, liver disease, arthritis and many other conditions using
Thai Traditional Medicine only. People come from all over the world
with varying degrees of paralysis and disease to see Loung Pao
Prasert after finding no relief in western medicines high cost
treatments. Loung Pao Prasert is recognized as one of the top
naturopathic healers in Asia and he strictly relies on the old ways
of healing which include the use of the top detoxifying,
phytochemical rich and immune system building foods and teas, Thai
herbs (which he grows and gives away for free), acupuncture, colored
light therapy, mineral rich water, mind/body exercises to better
oxygenate the body and energize the blood, and other valuable healing
modalities that he has been studying since he was very young. Many
people come for treatment including the most poor. Money is never
requested at the center. The centre relies exclusively on donations.

informal time with Loung Pao. Meditation provides a direct path for
discovering truth and relating to it (and to ourselves) with
compassion and honesty. Loung Pao is a meditation master / teacher
and guide for many monks in the Thai Forest Tradition. The benefits
of meditation are deep, profound and life changing when practice is
maintained over a time. However, even for the novice, meditation
delivers centering and stress reducing aspects that are measurable.
